Mr. Harris Ray Chandler, 84, 1933 Lee Hall St., died March 7 (1965). Resident of San Antonio 20 years, member of Church of Christ. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Chandler, and sons H. C. and J. W. Chandler, both of San Antonio; daughters Mrs. Roy L. Carpenter, Mrs. Raymond Long both of San Antonio; Mrs. W. C. Williams, Mesquite, TX., Mrs. Bobby McFarland of Orange, TX; brother Milledge Chandler, Muscadine, AL. and sister Ozella Smith of Muscadine, AL; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grand children.
Services will be at 1pm Tuesday, March 9, Roy Akers Funeral Chapel. Rev C.E. McNeely will officiate. Interment will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Pat Stanley, Charles Stanley, Robert Stanley, Bill Chandler, Edgar McFarland, Robert Williams, Jimmie Williams, Mitchell Williams.
