RALEIGH ALBRIGHT DEAD AT 84
Raleigh W. Albright, a Juliaetta farmer most of his life, died at 8:30 a.m. at the Orchards Nursing Home of infirmities of age. He was 84.
He had been in ill health since November, 1968, and was admitted to the nursing home May 20, 1975.
For half a century, Albright farmed in Potlatch Canyon in Juliaetta. He owned and operated the Rocky Flatt Turkey Farm at Juliaetta from 1918 to 1948.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Albright, he was born Oct. 14, 1892 at Moscow. He lived at Moscow until 1916 when he moved to Juliaetta.
He married Lora Jean Brackett May 7, 1918, at Lookout, near Gifford. She survives at the home in Juliaetta.
Other survivors include two daughters, Peggie Jean Stedman of Spalding and Bonnie M. Hayton of Cos Cob, Conn.; two sons, James W. Albright of Spalding and Rolan T. Albright of Roundup, Mont.; a brother, Clay E. Albright of Lewston, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Steve Caskey of the Kendrick United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Lookout Cemetery.
