Funeral services for Georgia Lee "Sis" Chapman Hutson, 88, of Williston, SC will be held three p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Rev. Floyd Dukes officiating. Burial will in the Windsor First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Sis passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012.
Born in Aiken County, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Chapman and Lillian Bonnette Chapman was married to the late Woodrow Allen "Buster" Hutson, Sr. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Mae Hutson Lee of Williston; sons, Allen (Carol) Hutson of St. Helena Island, SC; John (Kathy) Hutson of Williston; Ralph (Paula) Hutson of Lexington, SC, a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and a number nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph D. Chapman, Pickens Chapman and son-in-law, Walter "Woo" Lee.
