Gerald Norman Jackson was born Sept. 17, 1933 to Alfred R. Jackson and Ethel Rose Jackson. He died peacefully March 19, 1997.
On September 5, 1957 he was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple to LaNae Higley. Later divorced. Norman loved playing the piano, the organ and singing.
He is survived by one son, Wayne Jackson, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Connie and John Helgesen, Bountiful; Norma L. Jackson, West Jordan; Carol and Scot Crowther, Salt Lake City and four grandchildren, Angela and Jacob Helgesen and Shandy and Shelby Crowther; his brother, Wes Jackson, Accampo, California; and sister, Martha T. Howard, West Valley City and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by LaNae Jackson, parents, one brother and one sister.
His children would like to thank the nurses and staff at Eastridge Rehabilitation Center for the love and care so freely given to their father.
Graveside services will be Monday, Mar. 24, 1997 at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
