Mr. Hann was born near Ste. Marie the son of Anthony Hann and Elizabeth Yost Hann.
He was a member of the Catholic Church and attended Churches at Somonauk, Ste Marie, Robinson and Olney.
His wife, Eugenia, passed away on May 18, 1932.
He leaves three children, Harold Hann and Mrs. Frances Hahn ,both of Olney, and Mrs. Florence Huss of Robinson. There are 17 grandchildren and one grandson, Dennis Hahn, who was killed in action in Vietnam. He also leaves the following brother and sisters, Albert Hann of Carroll, Iowa, Mrs. Mary Dornoff and Mrs. Theresa Dwyer both of Hazel Crest, Mrs. Agnes Beckwith of Fulton, Mo., and Mrs. Helen Tharnish of Auburn, Iowa.
Seven brothers preceded him in death.
A funeral Mass for Mr. Hann will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mary’s of Assumption Church in Ste. Marie, with the Rev. Fr. Mathew Malley the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery at Somonauk, at 4:00 p.m. Saturday.
Friends may call at the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Friday. The Holy Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
