BOBBY GENE "BOB" BOBBIT
Bobby Gene "Bob" Bobbit, 83, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, died on April 16, 2012 at the Lee's Summit Medical Center. Bob was born March 25, 1929 in Wichita, KS, and grew up in Booneville, Missouri. He was a retired Lee's Summit High School Teacher and active Boy Scout Leader for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Seldon and Albatine Bobbitt. Survivors are his wife, Jeanette D. Bobbitt, of the home; Matt Bobbitt (Jill), of Houston, Texas, Tina Jo Young, of Lee's Summit, MO, and Anthony Bobbitt (Terri), of Independence, Missouri; grandchildren: Kaitlyn Bobbitt, Cassie Stewart, Jackie Bobbitt, Cody and Justin Young . Graveside services will be Friday, April 20, 2012 at 1 p.m., at the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Booneville, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, from 6-8 p.m., at the Langsford Funeral Home.
