Dick was the third son of Adrian Chase Logan and Ethel Mae Carey. He was in the US Navy during World War II, and a member of Freemasonry. Dick served as both teacher and principle at the Havelock school. He loved to play golf. He married Myrtle Nickleson on June 6th 1949, they have four daughters.
