Mrs. Ruby J. Boree, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was a native of Jacksonville and the daughter of Joseph & Zedora Kelly. Until her health declined, she was very active for many years in the music and ladies ministries at Regency Church.
She loved her family very much and has been reunited with her husband of 48 years, Howard Boree, who preceded her in death on February 24, 1996. Mrs. Boree is survived by her 4 children: Alan Boree (Katherine), Paulette Boree Wright (William), Jeanette Boree Richardson (David) and David Boree; 5 grandchildren: Lori Nobles (Danny), Michael Boree, Karen Wells (Frank), Daniel Richardson (Jennifer) and Paula Knight (Jonathan); 5 great grandchildren: Kaylee & Kaleb Nobles, Alex Richardson, Evan & Lily Wells; 1 sister: Ruth Sparkman; 1 sister-in-law: Mildred Kelly; Howard s sister & brother-in-law: Nellie & E.V. Ball; Howard s brother-in-law: Lee Rohn and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Regency Church, 1677 Southside Blvd. with Pastor John Morgan, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Her family will greet friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday (TODAY) at Regency Church.
