Marion C. Plas Lifelong Elyria resident
Marion C. Plas (nee Webber), 92, of Elyria died Wednesday at the Villa Camillus Nursing Home in Columbia Station after a long illness.
Born in Elyria, she remained a lifelong resident.
Mrs. Plas worked as a secretary for the Harold Rorick Insurance Agency in Elyria.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria and the Altar and Rosary Society there.
Mrs. Plas also was a member of Catholic Daughters of America.
Survivors include a sister, Ethel Guidry of Lafayette, La.; a brother, Earl Webber of La Grange; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, in 1985; sisters Sr. Mary Erna, SND, on Tuesday, Helen Webber and Margaret Hist; and brothers Irving, Elmer, and Raymond Webber.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 P.M. Sunday at the Laubenthal-DeCarlo Funeral Home, 257 Washington Ave. Elyria, where the St. Mary Altar and Rosary Society will recite the rosary at 2:30 P.M.
Services will be at 9 A.M. Monday at the Funeral home.
A Mass will follow at 9:30 A.M. at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue Elyria.
Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
