Funeral services for Mrs. Etta T. Jones, 83, 120 Holmes Street were to be held today at 2 p.m. at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herman W. Cobb officiating. Burial was to be in Forrest Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were to be G.T. Taylor, Edward Taylor, Johnny Williams, W.E. Mosley, Jr., George Johnson, Floyd Tubb, Jr., Lester Tubb and J.D. Tubb.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. James E. Moon and Mrs. Lucille Steele, Gadsden, Mrs. W.E. Mosley, Uniontown, Ala., Mrs. R.S. Webb, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. A.W. Taylor, Bay City, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Ottie T. Taylor, Gadsden; a brother, Floyd F. Tubb, Wylum, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
A native of Marion, Ala., she had resided in Gadsden for the past 14 years and was a member of the 12th Street Baptist Church.
