He was the son of John Theodore and Huldah Ann Bolin Fulford. His place of birth is per his marriage application to Leona.

He first married Leona Ann Akard on April 15, 1933 in Indianapolis, Marion Co, Indiana.

Their children: Sandra Lee Sharp; Nomi Ann Weaver and Kenneth Scott Fulford.

Early in his marriage he was a barber. He was employed by Remington Rand as a salesman for 20 years, retiring in 1976.

From John Akard: "Between being a barber and a salesman, Uncle Kenny had a dairy farm. Scott and I would make forts and caves out of the bales of hay when I visited for a few days. Uncle Kenny had milking machines but would milk by hand occasionally. Just as he started he would ask us if we wanted white or chocolate milk. "Too late" he'd say when we were too slow to answer."

He was a member of VFW Post 1257 in Martinsville and American Legion Post 252 in Greenwood.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He second married Mary Lou Jackman in Tennessee on Feb 16, 1988.

He was survived by his three children Sandra, Nomi and Scott; three sisters: Juanita Hulsted of Detroit, Michigan; Olive Grounds of Gosport, Indiana and Grace Ford of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his first wife, three brothers and three sisters.
