Mrs. John (Leona) Day of Weeping Water, Nebraska died November 5 in Memorial Hospital in Lincoln after a long illness. Mrs. Day was the mother of Mrs. Jim Hughes of Glendo and burial was made in the Glendo cemetery. Mrs. Day was well-known in this vicinity as she and her husband homesteaded east of the river in 1912.
