Henry Coffey, 77, of Bean Station, passed away Friday, March 10, 2006. He was born August 28, 1928. He was a longtime faithful member of Community Chapel. He was preceded in death by his son, David Coffey; parents, Elighe and Martha Coffey and several brothers and sisters. He was a wonderful father, friend and will be sadly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Coffey of Bean Station; daughters, Bernice Coffey Dalton, Ann Coffey Pyne, Jannette Barnard, all of Bean Station; sons and daughters in law, Herby and Joan Coffey, James and Darlene Coffey, all of Rutledge; sister Ophia Coffey of Franklin, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, March 13 at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Atkins Cemetery. Ministers; the Rev. Stevie Johnson, the Rev. Terry Winstead and the Rev. C. J. Dalton. Singers; Oak Hill Singers. The family will receive friends Saturday and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 13 at the Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Pallbearers; Charlie Barnard, David Wayne Coffey, Pat Coffey, Damon Coffey, Scott Coffey, Dustin Pyne and Brandon Wynne. Coffey Funeral Home in charge.
