Saturday, March 13th, 2004 - LIMATO, FRANK - Many family and friends mourn the loss of Frank Limato on March 10, 2004. Mr. Limato was 94 years old. He was the first born to Paolo and Luisa (nee Fino) Limato in Mt. Vernon, NY on May 28, 1909. He was a longtime resident of Mount Vernon, where he worked for Petrillo Contracters and was involved in the construction of many buildings and homes in that city, including St. Peter and Paul Church in Fleetwood, NY. Mr. Limato was a loving husband to Angelina (nee Lacerra) for an incredible 77 years. He was a devoted father to Paul of Jacksonville, FL; James of Scarsdale, NY (predeceased in 1995) and Edward of Beverly Hills, CA. Loving father-in-law to Doreen and the late Natalie and Donnie Rae Limato and beloved brother to Mary Eslinger, Carmella Porpora, Anne Fastiggi, Alexander Limato, Peter Limato and Lena Choma. Brothers: John, Paul, Carmine and Genaro Limato, all predeceased him. He was a cherished grandfather of nine, great-grandfather to 13 and great-great-grandfather of two. Mr. Limato also had many loving nieces and nephews, especially Angela Muliero of White Plains. Mr. Limato has resided since 1977 with his lovely wife at the home of their son, Edward in Beverly Hills, CA. His gentle spirit, loving smile and sense of humor touched everyone and will be truly missed. Visitation will be Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 14 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Yannantuono/Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Homes, 584 Gramatan Ave., Mt. Vernon, NY in Fleetwood, Mt. Vernon, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 15 at 11:00 am, St. Peter and Paul R.C. Church in Fleetwood, NY. Interment at Ferncliff Family Mausoleum, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY.
