Hastings resident Kenneth W. Davidson, 88, of 520 Lane G, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at Good Samaritan Village Perkins Pavilion in Hastings.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings with the Rev. Kathleen G. Kasper officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery in Ayr. Visitation is until 9 p.m. today at Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
Mr. Davidson was born July 24, 1912, to Vernon and Neva (Bradbury) Davidson in Jewell County, Kan. He attended school in Concordia, Kan. On Aug. 31, 1950, he married Donna Gerloff in Hastings. He worked for Industrial Irrigation in Hastings until retiring in 1974. He then owned and operated Kenney's Repair Shop in Hastings until 1992.
He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Surviving is his wife.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association or to the church.
