Frank Hutchins passed away in the hospital after being taken care of by his daughter and wife in the home for his declining years. He was born Benjamin Franklin Hutchins to Robert & Sally Ethel (Hutchins) Hutchins in 1903 at home in the Oachita Mountains. His siblings are Delia, who died of tuberculosis, and Pete. When Frank was 8 years old his father passed. As a young man he moved to Norman, Oklahoma and took carpentry & construction as his vocation.
Around age 20 he met and married Mary Florence Harmon the oldest of ten children of James & Melvina (Moon) Harmon. They had a daughter in 1923 and a son in 1925. Sunnyboy was never a strong child and passed in 1927. Subsequently, Frank and Florence divorced for several years as Frank was drinking heavily but after the marriage of their daughter they rebuilt their marriage until his death in 1988.
