Robert Russell Perry, 50, of 4105 Joetta Court, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Methodist Evangelical Hospital. He was a receiving clerk at American Standard for 25 years. He was a native of Chaplin, Ky., an army veteran of World War II and a member of the St. James United Church of Christ. He was also a member of Lewis Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Heick; two daughters, Mrs. Pamela Nepute and Miss Cheryl F. Perry; his father and stepmother Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Perry of Danville, Ky., and a grandson. The funeral will be at 11. a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Emma Heick announces the engagement of her daughter of Miss Ruth Naomi Heick, to Mr. Robert Russell Perry, son of Mr. Oscar Perry, Danville, Ky. The wedding will be solemnized at 8 p.m. November 14 in St. Luke's Evangelical Church. No formal invitations will be issued.
Miss Mildred Heick wil be her cousin's maid of honor and Mr. John S. Perry will be his brother's best man.
