Surviving; daughters, Bette White, of Dry Creek, Louise Thompson, of Surveyor, Helen Hendrick of Marlinton, WV, Patty Lilly of Glen Daniel; sisters, Ella Mae Turner and Stollie Aliff, of Whitesville; eight grandchildren; three great-granddaughters. Service was to be 11am today at Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, with the Rev. Willie August officiating. Burial was to be in Adkins-Pettry Cemetery, Naoma. Mrs Pettry was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dawson Pettry, three sisters, Octavie Peggy Miller, Eva Reed and Dolly Williams; four brothers, Ira, Kelley, John and Joe Aliff.
Survivors include; four daughters, Mrs. Orville (Betti) White of Dry Creek, Mrs. Paul (Louise) Thompson of Surveyor, Mrs. Willis (Helen) Hendrick of Marlinton and Mrs Marion (Patty) Lilly of Glen Daniels; 2 sisters , Ella Mae Turner and Stollie both of Whitesville; a brother Henry Aliff of Whitesville; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Service 11am at Armstrong Funeral Home with Rev. Willie August officiating. Burial will follow in Adkins-Pettry Cemetery, Naoma.
