Mary Lou (Noble) Fry, age 76, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2012 following a long illness. She was born on March 4, 1936 in Lancaster WI, the daughter of Eldridge and Bessie (Cooley) Noble and was a graduate of Lancaster High School. Mary Lou and Francis Fry were married on June 14, 1957 and they lived in Cobb WI for over 40 years, before moving to Dodgeville. Mary Lou had been an active member of the Iowa County Homemakers, Cobb United Methodist Women's Group and she enjoyed playing bridge with the ladies on Wednesdays. Mary Lou served as the librarian at the Cobb Public Library for several years, and took great joy in reading to the children. She is survived by 3 sons, Cedric, Oundle England, David (Marie), Dodgeville, Dan (Carol) Collierville TN. Five grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle) Fry, Mount Carmel IL, Dana Fry, Oak Creek WI, Aaron (Alissa) Fry, Decatur IL, Andrew Fry, San Diego CA, Adam Fry Decatur IL, and one great-grandson, Jaxom Fry, Mount Carmel IL. She is further survived by her sister Sharon (Ron) Blask, Lancaster, brother-in-law Philip (Cheryl) Fry, Oshkosh WI, sister-in-law Ruth Mundt, Prairie du Chien and many very loved nieces and nephews. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant son, James, brother and sister-in-law, Roger & Eileen Noble, nephew Tony Noble and brother-in-law Kelly Mundt. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Dodgeville United Methodist Church. Pastors Rom Pegram and Charlene Bennett will co-officiate with burial in East Side Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M.
