Cooley, Mrs. Orelia Gardner, Mrs. S. D. Pittard and family are invited to attend the funeral of Mrs. S. F. Pittard tomorrow , Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Capitol Avenue Baptist Church. Rev. W. H. Major will officiate. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. J. Austin Dillon Company in charge.
Daughter of Henry L. Abbott and Orelia "Lillie" Pellegrinni/Abbott. Her mother remarried to Samuel S. Gardner, after the death of her father - died between 1896 and 1900.
Helen was married to Samuel Frank Pittard, probably in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
This couple had four children, Samuel Frank Pittard, b. 11/16/1911, Marion C. Pittard, b. 1916, Helen Ruth Pittard, b. 6/9/1919 and Robert Leland Pittard b. 3/23/1922 - all the children were born in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
