GEORGE TEKE, 80, CLAIMED BY DEATH

Funeral services for George Teke, 80, who died Thursday, March 10 at the home of his son George at Batavia O. were conducted Monday morning in Fitch Bros. funeral home. The Rev. Daniel Yaekle, pastor of Zion Evangelical and Reformed church offer and burial in Riverview cemetery.

Mr Teke was born at Dillsboro in January 1875, the son of Mr and Mrs Lewis Teke and spent all his life in this county where he engaged in farming for many years. He married Rhoda Weaver in 1900, and she died in 1945. Since the death of his wife he had resided with his children. He was a member of the Presbyterian church in Cleves, O.

He is survived by four other sons, Everett, Talbert and Ralph, all of Lawrenceburg and Leonard of Rising Sun; five daughters, Mrs. Wesley Simmons, Cincinnati; Mrs. Walter Scholle, Aurora; Mrs. Leroy Carpenter, Dillsboro: Mrs. Joseph Vogel, Lawrenceburg; and Mrs. Alvin Detmer, Rising Sun and a sister, Mrs Mary Rae, Aurora.
