On January 2, 1909 in Dumas, Arkansas a beautiful girl was born to Ned and Narciss Bess and they named her Ada B. Later the family moved to Muskogee, Oklahoma. Then she met George W. Flemmons.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband,George Flemmons of the home; a daughter, Dorothy of the home nine stepchildren with three having died earlier. Georgia Mae Gasque of Baltimore, Md., Ida B. Jones of Gibson Station, Oklahoma; Liberia Miller of Plymouth, Minnesota, Bertha Etta Ridge of San Pablo, California and Carrie Grayson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, two step-sons, James Flemmons of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Richard Flemmons of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and one granddaughter of the home, three great grandchildren, one sister, Azalee Bess and one brother, Woodrow Wilson Bess, both of Muskogee, Oklahoma and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ada B. Flemmons' funeral was held Wednesday, August 2, 1989 - 10:00 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church, Muskogee, Oklahoma with Rev. T. McFrazier, Officiating.
