Services for Mrs. Syrena E. Strong of Springfield, widow of the late Thomas R. Strong, and president of Strong's Cafeteria Inc., will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bisch Memorial Home. Dr. Beryl S. Kinser will officiate and burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Strong, 81, died at 5:45 a.m. Monday at St. John's Hospital. Mrs. Strong was born at Nokomis, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilton Cauble. She was a member of the First Christian Church, National Restaurant Association, the Chicago, and Illinois Restaurant Associations and American Automobile Association.
Surviving are one brother, Lawrence Cauble, Fillmore, Ill., and one sister, Nellie Riedel, Sacramento, Calif.
