Edward D, Martus, 93, died Wednesday, July 12, at Oswego Hospital following a brief illnes.
A native of Utica, Mr, Martus was the son of the late Simon and Mary (Day) Martus. He was a life resident of Utica before living at the Pontiac Nursing Home for the past year.
Mr. Martus attended Utica public schools, the Excelsior School of Business and the University of Chicago. He worked as office manager for International Heater of Utica.
In Oswego, he is survived by a nephew, Robert J. Martus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 14, from St. John the Evangelist Church in New Hartford. Burial was in St. Agnes' Cemetery, Utica. Oswego Valley News, Monday, July 17, 1989
