Nancy Crews departed this life on the 27 of 2mo 1893, aged 47 years. She was the daughter of John and Abigal[sic] Edwards. She had a birth-right in the church. The last time she ever attended church she testified of the goodness of God to her soul. She suffered intensely from the effects of la grippe. Before she was taken down she told who she wanted to preach at her funeral; she also picked out the songs she wanted sung at that time.
