Thomas VanSickle died at his home on Bush Hill, last Saturday morning, Nov. 23, 1912, after a short illness, of pneumonia, aged 39 years.
The deceased was a well known resident of this section, where he had spent most of his life, and the announcement of his death last Saturday came as a shock to his friends, as very few knew of his illness until after his death. He was a citizen of many admirable parts, and his passing away will be regretted by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
He is survived by a widow, six small children and a step son and a step-daughter, besides two sisters, Mrs. E. E. Crum, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. A. E. Wilson, of Angelica, NY.
After a short service at the house Tuesday morning the remains were taken to the Grimes district the interment was made in the Grimes District cemetery.
