Injuries are fatal to Brainard farmer. John Hain dies In Omaha Hospital after being struck by falling hoisting machine.

Seward, Neb. June 1, 1934 - John Hain, a well known farmer of near Brainard, in Butler county, died at a hospital in Omaha Wednesday from injuries received while unloading hay, the day before.

The hay was being transferred from the wagon to the loft of the barn when the hoisting machinery gave way and struck Mr. Hain as it came down.

He was rushed to the Omaha hospital but the injuries proved fatal. He is survived by his wife and several children. A brother, Joe Hain, and other relatives live near Bee. The Lincoln Star, Friday, June 1, 1934
