Wife of: William Kittel

A Newspaper Article states the following:

As Mrs. William Kittel, with her mother, was returning from a visit with Mrs. Bentley her horse became frightened at something but at what Mrs. K. was too much frightened to know, and turning short around in front of C. D. Whitman's house, the two ladies "got left" while the horse ran up the road as far as Mr. J. Murphy's where it was caught and returned by Mr. Murphy. Neither of the ladies know just how they came out of the buckboard, but they were unharmed except one of Mrs. K's fingers. The dashboard of the wagon was broken. This is the second runaway on this street within a month, the other being one of D. Bentley's horses, driven by William Clough. The wheel came off, the driver was thrown out uninjured and the horse ran home, leaving the wagon on the way, a total wreck.
