He was born lyre August 13. 1870, a son of Charles and Frances Bruanard Hales. He married Hannah Boyack in the Manti L. D. S. temple November 24, 1807. He was active in the L. D. S. Fourth ward.
He is survived by his widow and six sons and daughters, Robert E, Hales and Mrs. Jessie Peel, Magna; Darrell F. Hale, Spanish Fork: Mrs. Myrl Davis. West Los Angeles, Cal., Harry H. Hales. Akron, Ohio, serving the past 16 months as a missionary for the L. D. S. church
He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six brothers and sisters. Wells Hales and Mrs. Minnie Bates of Diamond; Frank Hales and Mrs. Jennie Wearing, Idaho: Edward Hales, Spanish Fork, and Mrs. Carolina Woodward. Salt Lake.
The body is at the Claudin funeral home, and funeral arrangements will be announced later.

SPANISH FORK - Funeral services for Harmon B. Hales, who died Wednesday morning in a Salt Lake hospital, will be conducted Sunday at 2 p. m. In the L D S Fourth ward chapel, with interment in Spanish Fork City cemetery. Friends may call at the Claudin Funeral home until Sunday morning and then at the family home until time for the services.
