NORMAN ODELL HOOKER, 83, of Memphis, retired employee of Firestone Tire & Rubber Co., died of complications from Parkinson disease Tuesday at Mid-South Christian Nursing Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park. He was a member of Merton Street Church of Christ and a World War II Army veteran.
Mr. Hooker, the widower of Effie Lois Hooker, leaves a daughter, Mary Doris Sojourner of Germantown, and a brother, Leslie Hooker of Rowlett, Texas.
