He was the son of Elbert and Jane Curtenius Roosevelt, the former of whom died at the age of 93. His brother, Albert C. Roosevelt, died a few years ago at the age of 87, and a sister still lives who has reached the age of 80. Mr. Roosevelt was born in New York City, but spent 88 years of his life on the farm where he died.
