Dennis Alvin Ivers, 57, died Friday at his home in north Albany. Denny was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Alvin and Grace (Boege) Ivers. His family moved to Corvallis, where he attended school, graduating from Corvallis High School in 1965. On Nov. 19, 1966 he married Carol Fletcher. They had two sons.
He worked for Wah Chang for 35 years before retiring.
He was an avid reader and loved music. He had a wonderful sense of humor.
Denny was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
His is survived by wife Carol of north Albany; sons and daughter-in-law Gregory of Salem and Andrew and Kristi of Scio, brother Keith of Montana, sister Joyce of Corvallis, and grandchildren Nicholas and Erika of Scio.
