The death of James Hall was quite a shock to everyone. Although Mr. Hall had a severe illness a few weeks ago, he had seemed to be gaining strength and was able to be walking about again. Suddenly, last Wednesday, August 19 while walking in the yard about 7 o'clock, Mrs. Hall heard him call and happened to get to him before he fell.
Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon, Rev Upperman presiding. The remains were carried to the old home of the Halls near Brush Creek for the final service and burial.
Mr. Hall leaves a wife, several children, a brother and sister.
