WHITEFIELD---Funeral services for the late Ernest A. Preble were held at the family lot on the Preble farm Wednesday, Aug, 10, at 2:30 P. M., Rev. Frederick Emerson of Alna presiding. Mr. Preble went West many years ago. He died at Pacific Grove, Cal. He leaves one brother, Henry, and two sisters, Tina and Marian Preble, all of California. He was the youngest son of the late Abram and Eglantine Preble.
