Services for Mr. Jimmy Wayne Roberts will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2012 at Alpine First Baptist Church, Tioga with Reverends Jim Winegeart and Richard DeBusk officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Pollock, under the Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
The family requests that visitation be observed Thursday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday at Alpine First Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Roberts, 67, of Pollock passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Hardtner Medical Center, Urania.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Cora Rush Roberts; brothers, Varnell, M. L. and Wilburn Roberts.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 45 years, Pam Andries Roberts; sons, Kevin Roberts & wife, Donna, Kelvin Roberts & wife, Shawn Kerry Roberts & wife, Brandi, Kyle Roberts & wife, C.J.; daughter, Kelly Roberts Jones & husband, Jarrett; step-daughter, Leisa Glenn & husband, Henry; brothers, Irwin Roberts, Dallas Roberts, Adrian Roberts; sister, Mary Fruge'; nine grandchildren, one great grandson.
