"Mrs. Eliza Westz [sic], 94, 1216 Randolph, died this morning. She was born February 12, 1871, in Cameron, Mo., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Rodgers. She came to Leavenworth 74 years ago. In 1887, she married Clay Filley. Mr. Filley died in 1907.
Mrs. Westz is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Konneman of 319 North 20th, Mrs. Cecil E. Galler of 1216 Randolph, Mrs. Goldie Morris of 234 Sherman and Mrs. Margaret Alig of 412 Spring Garden; two sons, Allie Filley of Atchison and Henry Filley of Salem, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Theckle Nelson of Cameron, Mo., and Mrs. Florence Sutherland, Calif.
