Frances Brady Wrighstman was the daughter of William Brady and Mary Ann McCulloch. She was born in Scotland and moved to the US with her first husband, Charles Butterworth in 1919. After divorcing Charles in 1922, she remarried to Jesse Wrightsman who she remained happily married to until her death. She had two daughters Mary Ann McFarland Cooper and Alice McFarland Hamden, two stepsons George and Fred Wrighstman, and one step daughter, Mary Alice Wrightsman Cooper.
