William Stanley Gabbard, 59, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, in Beaver Dam. He was born Feb. 13, 1950, in Ohio County to the late Leonard Gabbard and Laura Pearl Lloyd. He was a self-employed contractor and member of Centertown Tabernacle. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Rhea.
Survivors include three brothers, Kenneth Gabbard and L.J. "Jay" Gabbard and wife Betty, all of Beaver Dam, and Eddie Wayne Gabbard and wife Deloris of Rockport, Ind.; a sister, Lana Moseley and husband Paul of Beaver Dam; his mother, Laura Pearl Lloyd Gabbard of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, with Marty Bowlds officiating. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carson Cemetery in Ohio County.
