Mrs. Y. E. McNear
Cobbtown - Mrs. Beulah Dowd McNear, 85, died at Candler County Hospital Monday after a long illness.
Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Y,E, McNear of Cobbtown; a daughter, Mrs. Olivia M. Bond of Rigby, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Lela Crabb of Cobbtown and Mrs. Mary Morris of Collins; eight brothers, Nick Dowd of Lyons, Joseph Dowd of Benmark, N.L. Dowd of Savannah, Josh Dowd of Bloomingdale and Alex, Leon, Jess and Lazerus Dowd, all of Cobbtown; a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Hooks Mortuary of Metter is in charge.
