William Fender, Of Spencer, Dies Here

William Fender, 87, civil war veteran of Spencer, died Wednesday night in the Bloomington hospital, where he had been confined since suffering a broken hip five weeks ago. His death was due to pneumonia.

Funeral rites will be held from the Methodist church at Spencer Sunday afternoon.
