Sister Geraldine Didier, C.S.A., 86, of Nazareth Heights, died Wednesday, April 4, 1990 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 18, 1903, in Chicago, a daughter of John F. and Catherine Weiland Didier. She professed her vows Aug. 15, 1923.
Sister Geraldine worked in the office and as a receptionist at St. Agnes Hospital for 32 years, at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe for 15 years, and at St. Thomas Hospital in Colby, Kan., for 12 years. From 1972 to 1983, she was assistant to the director of Apostolate to the Handicapped in Monroe. She retired to Nazareth Heights on Sept. 25, 1983.
Survivors include three sisters, Kathryn Freie of Waterloo, Iowa, Frances Cornille of Elmhurst, Ill., and Marie Jensen of Franklin Park, Ill.,; and two brothers, John Didier of Tucson, Ariz., and Matt Didier of Niles, Mich. four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
