Ora Lee Blanton, 85, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, in a Greenville (TX) Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Nancy Moore, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery.
Blanton was born July 10, 1914, in Thalia, a daughter of the late James Gland and Vinetta Culver Davis. She married Bert Frank Banton (sic - should have read Blanton) on Feb. 9, 1940 in Vernon.
A graduate of Five In One High School, she was a retired employee of Wilbarger General Hospital and had previously worked at Montgomery Wards. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Nan Beth Shultz of Greenville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
