He was born June 27, 1922 in La Junta, Colorado to Lloyd and Bessie Adams. He was a minister in the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana), led a faithful and godly life, and left a rich Christian heritage to a family he loved very much. He served in World War II in the U.S. Army. Lloyd loved to read, enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball, and playing games with friends and family.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen of 59 years; parents; and brother, Charles.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Ruth; sons, Larry (Lisa) and Bruce (Brenda); daughter, Linda (Curt) Eastin; brothers, Robert (Nita) Adams of Moore, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Road on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 5 - 7 p.m., with services beginning at 7 p.m., Rev. Larry Collins officiating. Interment at Mansfield Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
