Arlin Ray Banks, Sr., 68, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away July 2, 2007 at the home of his daughter Debora, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, July 6, 2007 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-1 PM Friday at the funeral home. Arlin was a lifelong K.C., KS resident. He worked in the service department for Fisher Buick for over 20 years, retiring in 2005. Arlin was an avid gardener and cook but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Survivors include 2 daughters, Debora Banks, Renita F. Altum; 2 sons, Arlin R. Banks, Jr., James L. Banks; a sister, Maxine Mauzey; 2 brothers, Ed Banks, James L. "Jay" Banks; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. (Arrs. Maple Hill Funeral Home (913) 831-3345).
