A native of Christian County, Mr. Boyd was born Oct. 14, 1893, the son of the late Ed and Nannie Lee Bullock Boyd. He was a retired painter, a World War I veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mabel Early; a brother, Asa Boyd. both of the home; and three nieces.
