Ray William Boyd, 75•year-old resident of S. Clay St., died early today at the Medicenter following a five-year illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Henninger Funeral Home with Dr. D. M. Spears Officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

A native of Christian County, Mr. Boyd was born Oct. 14, 1893, the son of the late Ed and Nannie Lee Bullock Boyd. He was a retired painter, a World War I veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mabel Early; a brother, Asa Boyd. both of the home; and three nieces.
