MADISON--Dora V. Humphrey, Sr., 80, of Madison, died at 5:10 p.m. Friday at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Louisville, Ky.

He was a native of Milton, Ky., and had worked as a clerk at the Koehler Supply Co. here for about 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War I, a member of the First Baptist Church here, the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Stella Carpenter Humphrey; a son, Dora V. Humphrey, Jr., Georgetown, Ill.; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Louise Sarver, Mrs. Thelma Glore, and Mrs. Beulah Boyd, all of Madison, Mrs. Laura Davis, Anderson, and Mrs. Jessie Griffin, Cincinnati, Ohio; two stepsons, Russell Welch, Chicago, Ill., and Elmer Welch, Columbus, and several grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Vail Memorial Funeral Home here, with burial in the Bayless Cemetery here.

The body will be at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
