Carolyn Marie Dennis, age 63, of Dodge City, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, March 07, 2007 at the Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma, Michigan. She was born the daughter of Wallace S. and Marjorie F. (Copeland) March on November 4, 1943 in Highland Park, Michigan. She owned and operated the Video Corral in Dodge City and had been co-owner of Kern's Grocery also of Dodge City since 1973. She had also retired from National City Bank of Harrison, was a member of the Harrison Moose Lodge, and volunteered for the Clare County Council for the Aging. In her spare time, she loved traveling to the casino, making crafts and candles, and spoiling her dogs. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family...especially her grandchildren. She lived in the Harrison area since 1973 where she had moved from Ypsilanti, Michigan.
She is survived by her son, Andy (Andrea) Dennis of Harrison; a daughter, Christine Dennis also of Harrison; her very close friend and companion, Chip Jones also of Harrison, a sister, Sue (Dave) Curns of Belleville, Michigan; her four grandchildren: Krista and Tony Schuh and Clay and Will Dennis all of Harrison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Terry March and her sister, Gaye McPherson.
