Died Monday, April 9, 2012

Thomas Lewis Hundley, 83, of 16 Merriman Road, Fieldale, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville.
He was born on Sept. 13, 1928, in Henry Country to Reid Lincoln Hundley and Annie May Morris Hundley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Elizabeth Hundley; and an infant brother.
Hundley attended Fieldale Baptist Church and was a member of the Knights of the Pythias.
He served in the Army during the Korean conflict.
He had worked for Mitchell Howell Ford in the service department.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Johnston Hundley of the home; a daughter, Karen Leigh Hundley of Centreville; two nephews; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norris Funeral Services in Martinsville with Pastors Frank Gribble and Jody Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
