Mr. Arci was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Sharon, a son of Guido and Anne Petricini Arci.
He was a lifelong area resident and attended Farrell High School.
Pete was employed at the former Sharon Steel's Farrell plant for 28 years and retired from Truck World, Hubbard, after 13 years of employment.
He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell.
He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR and enjoyed hunting, fishing and morning coffee at Bob Evans in Hermitage.
Pete was most happy, however, when spending time with his loved ones.
Surviving are: his children, Anthony J. Arci and his companion Nicole R. Lazusky, Hubbard; and Peter Arci Jr. and Lisa Arci, both Naples, Fla.; a stepdaughter whom he raised, Gina M. Simpson, Sharon; his former wife of 19 years and close friend, Carol Strawcutter, Hubbard; six granddaughters and four grandsons; two sisters, Loretta DelFratte and her husband Augie; and Gina Cantrell and her husband Ronnie, all Sharpsville; nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews; and friends.
The family would like to thank Sharon Regional Cancer Care Center for the wonderful care given to Pete during his illness and Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, which assisted in caring for him during his final days.
