Ronnie Metcalf, 43, died Wednesday night (July 27, 1988) in the Lincoln Regional Hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Petersburg chapel of Ralston-McCauley Funeral Home with Steve Tudor officiating and burial followed in New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Metcalf was a native of Lincoln County, and the son of the late Shirley ad Ora Chisam Metcalf. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
His survivors include a step-daughter Vicky Hayes of Chicago, Ill., a son, David R. Metcalf of Petersburg; two sisters; and three brothers.
